Taking the first step to booking a counselling session can seem daunting.
Whatever your reason for seeking support, it is the right reason for you
You might feel things could be better than they are but can’t quite work out why. You are maybe thinking about therapy and what it means. You may notice you are not as content as you once were. Maybe someone has suggested it to you. Maybe your doctor has referred you and you are on a long waiting list. You may have experienced a life-changing event, illness or trauma. There are often several reasons for seeking support. While this might seem confusing in terms of identifying or explaining what you hope to achieve, the therapeutic process and relationship we hold will enable you.
Here are a few words from my clients about the work we have done together.
“I so appreciate the time, thought and work Vicky invested in my therapy. Our sessions started during a time when I felt overwhelmed, confused and often low. When I look to the mid-term future today, I feel better equipped to plan and shape the time ahead. Thank you!”
“The therapy changed the quality of my life tremendously! I understood how crucial it is to love yourself. I am the happiest I’ve ever been. You have been gentle, warm, supporting, guiding me through the process. I am so grateful for everything.”
“Therapy.. helped me see a massive change in my healing and understand I can recover from difficult experiences”
“I was able to understand my anxiety more. Vicky helped me understand the importance of being uncomfortable with uncertainty, and to focus more on the process rather than the final product.”
“I really enjoyed the therapy and way Vicky explained… She is kind and gentle and that’s helped me in many ways. I have done massive work with her.. I could face my fears, understand my thoughts, emotions, behaviour and could make a change in my life.”
“The confidence I feel, I’m ready to deal with the issue.. I have the tools”
“I have learnt healthier coping skills. I have found therapy really helpful. It has helped me work through some really difficult situations. I have found Vicky to be very kind and empathetic. It has been a pleasure working with her.”
